I am honored to address my words to the entire chess family and to the broader community of chess enthusiasts and players. As President of the Federation, I extend my best regards to everyone who shares our passion for this intellectual sport.
Our Federation strives to promote the game of chess across the country and encourage players of all ages and skills to participate in local and international events. We believe that chess is a tool for intellectual development, enhancing strategic thinking, problem-solving and critical analytical skills, and we aim to create opportunities for players to improve their abilities and excel at the sport.
We are proud of our players' achievements and the success of our programmes, and remain committed to supporting the growth of chess in the UAE. We are grateful to our partners and sponsors who share our vision and help us organize quality tournaments and events.
We recognize the importance of this sport in promoting mental health and social bonds. We encourage all players to continue playing the game, whether in person or online, and to stay safe and healthy.
